This notice explains how The NRI Circle handles information voluntarily provided through research access, general enquiries, newsletter subscription and an explicitly consented information-forwarding request.

Information you may provide

Depending on the form, you may provide your name, email address, WhatsApp number, country of residence, message or request context, selected research article, required consent, optional newsletter consent and optional forwarding consent. Please do not submit sensitive financial, identity, tax, banking, transaction or account information through website forms or WhatsApp.

Why it is used

Article-access details are used to unlock the requested research. General enquiry details are used to respond to the stated research or platform question. Newsletter details are used to send research notes only where you subscribe. An investment or property context request is not automatically forwarded: any forwarding occurs only after the relevant optional consent is recorded and a manual decision is made.

Where it is held

Submitted records are stored in the WordPress NRI Circle owner console and are restricted to authorised administrators. Records include the form type, consent flags and submission context so the owner can respond responsibly, honour consent choices and manage requests. The public website and analytics events do not display submitted contact details.

Third-party contact choices

If you click WhatsApp, your message is handled by WhatsApp under its own terms and privacy practices. If you ask for an introduction and separately consent to forwarding, your request may be shared with the relevant authorised party; The NRI Circle does not make a recommendation, assess suitability, negotiate, handle money or execute a transaction.

Your choices

Newsletter consent is optional and you may unsubscribe at any time. You may use the Connect page to ask about your submitted information, withdraw optional newsletter consent, or request access, correction or erasure subject to the owner’s verification and applicable obligations.

Retention

We retain submitted records for 12 months from the last meaningful interaction, then delete or anonymise them unless a legal obligation requires longer retention. You may request earlier erasure through the Connect page, subject to identity verification and applicable obligations. We may update this notice when our actual processes change.
